In my lifetime I have played the drums in an award winning jazz band, screened a film at South by Southwest, spent a semester studying and backpacking through Europe, built a home in the back of my car and driven across the United States, read countless novels and poems, and received a degree in Data Analytics. I have a curious mind, a do-it-yourself attitude, and a creative approach to solving problems. If you are a company full of kind people, I would really like to work with you. Here are the industries I am most passionate about:
Art & Entertainment
Percolator is a mobile application that uses crowd-sourced data and machine learning to help users find the perfect coffee house in their area. It is currently in the user research and prototyping stage.
Conducting user research and testing to design a mobile application that encourages users to have a more active lifestyle by walking their digital pet.
Developed an android mobile application that stores restaurant reviews for Hogsmeade. Loads data in from an XML in an Asynchronous Task to inflate the main RecyclerView, and allows restaurants to be edited and added.
Generated daily haiku from current event headlines using the Google News API and Python natural language processing toolkit. Presented my process and findings during Chapman University Student Research Day.
Designed and developed a responsive website for Convergent Technical Sales based on the old content and client's new design specifications.
It's hazing, but for Computer Science students. I developed a solution to this infamous programming assignment, complete width classic, donut, and mirror modes.
To satisfy my inner-engineer and hone in on power tool abilities, I designed and built a home in the back of my hatchback to travel with across the country.
